Deejah + Rex | Wedding Day

Southern weddings are always great, especially when both individuals put God first in their lives. Enter Rex, the pastor of Lost and Found Outreach Ministry. When I sat down with Rex to discuss the wedding contract we quickly got off topic and chewed the fat for a very long time. He had me belly laughing and talking hobbies and politics in a matter of no time. What a character! And his lovely bride, Deejah, enjoys spending time with arts and crafts and travelling on mission trips throughout the world. What a perfect couple. They truly were meant to be.

Rex and Deejah met through Rex's brother & sister-in-law, Craig & KK. One of Deejah's first clients as a professional organizer was KK, and they found they had a lot in common. That first autumn, KK invited Deejah to the gathering they were having of friends & family for Thanksgiving. Rex & Deejah met there and became friends. When Rex brought up some friends from Hattiesburg for an event this past June, he asked Deejah to play tour guide for them all around Nashville. After Rex returned to Hattiesburg, the conversations continued over the phone... for many, many hours... and the rest is history!

I thoroughly enjoyed capturing their special day. It felt as if I was in the company of family. One thing is for certain, everyone that attended the wedding enjoyed the evening and celebration. A big congrats to Deejah and Rex! Here's to many years to come!
